Marriage is the joining of two lives. While some aspects of marriage have changed, including women sharing equal status within the relationship and same-sex couples enjoying the opportunity to wed, the basic concept remains the same. Similarly, the ceremony itself is largely the same from one generation to the next with new adaptations occurring over time.

Special transportation is one tradition that remains. No longer limited to the standard limo, couples enjoy wide variety when choosing a limo rental in San Francisco. Couples can choose transportation that suits their personalities and style preferences. Just as in modern marriages, one size doesn’t fit all.

Another trend is to involve friends and family in more intimate ways. Welcoming the wedding party into planning, preparing, dressing, and celebrating is now an expected tradition. A twist on this inclusion is using a party bus rental in the Bay Area to transport the wedding party on the day of the nuptials. This special gesture makes the wedding party feel appreciated and close to the bride and groom, especially if they choose to ride along with their friends.

A party bus limo in the Bay Area could also come in handy when celebrating a pre-wedding ritual. Whether the bachelor and bachelorette parties are joined or separate, party bus transportation magnifies the fun and safety of the night spent celebrating the future happiness of friends and  of companions.

Transportation is not the only adaptation to the ceremony. Many couples are adjusting the ceremony itself. Brides no longer need to be given away; the music doesn’t have to be the same as every other wedding; and new symbols demonstrate a couple’s commitment during the ceremony. The ceremony may be different, but the purpose remains the same.

The reception is different as well. Music and dancing still drive the event, and the couple usually still participates in cake cutting, toasting, and bouquet tossing. However, couples now make a point to personalize the event with signature drinks, customized food choices, and choreographed dances. The entire event has become more produced, reflecting a more self-involved society.

While new traditions are born every day, most couples choose to observe at least a few dearly held traditions. Regardless of a couple’s choices, transportation amplifies the ultimate point of the day remains the same: two people pledging to remain committed to one another for a lifetime, and that is not likely to change anytime soon.
